You do have dreams right?  The question has been asked over and over during your life…What do you want to be when you grow up?  It seems that the question never runs out of style. So many obstacles end up standing in the way to achieving our dreams that it makes us feel deflated, disappointed and just plain down.  Do we blame society? Do we blame our parents or friends?  I believe that it is 50% their fault and 50% our fault for allowing it.  So it is time to stop, jump in and start that dream machine revving up again.

So what do you want to do?

  • Doctor
  • Lawyer
  • Accountant
  • Financial Advisor
  • A tech hero like Steve Jobs
  • Secretary/Paralegal
  • Food Services of all kinds; own a restaurant, hostess one etc…
  • Real Estate agent

The list of career dreams is endless as our dreams are.  So how do we bring them to life when everywhere you turn there is a payment involved?

First piece – research, research and more research.  Having the internet is now no excuse for laziness and procrastination.  We can go to school and actually get a bachelor’s degree all online.  There are numerous government grants that maybe you can obtain to get that education or start that business, if the brick and mortar kind of business is your preference.  There are so many grants to choose from and I hope that if you take a look at them that you will see something that is perfect for you.

Internet businesses are exploding these days.  Blogs, Vlogs, YouTube, social media, etc…is all out there waiting to be tapped into.  That is one of the many reasons that I am here.  Yes, I want an online business.  Yes I find writing to all of you to be cathartic.  It is lovely to write and know that objectivity is on the other side.  That is one of the reasons that I have guest writers that stop by like Rhona, Violet, and Anigel.  They have a lot to say and sometimes it helps them like me to talk to an objective and kind audience as yourselves.

I have always believed that sharing is caring and that is also another reason that I am here.  It would pain me to know that people are so deeply hurting out there.  I just hope to try and help somehow.  Hope and trying is all we can do and the rest can hopefully fall into place.

Dare to hope for your future, whatever it may be.  If you are ill, visit your doctor and don’t be stubborn.  If you want a new career, investigate, start it as a side project and hopefully like fresh grown lettuce it will grow and you can become full-time at it and financially free.  Isn’t that what we truly want in the final scheme of things, peace, love and financial freedom?  I know that it is on my list.  All I can do is try out my ideas and hope for the best.

Your biggest regret will be if you do not try.  There were several ideas that I let slip through my fingers.  It took me a long time to forgive myself and let it go.  I have let it and now focus on new ideas and adventures that can help create a better future for myself.

You can surely do it too.  Keep your eyes open and ready to jump in and go for it! Check out things on the web, the library, people etc…The possibilities are definitely endless.

Let me know what you decide? I would love to know.  Inspiration can be a two-way street 🙂

Later gater!
